Peter Durand 1810
In 1810 Durand from Englandpatented the use of tin-coated iron "Food Can" or canning. Ethics patent (No 3372) was granted internment August 25, 1810 by King Martyr III.
Peter Duranda merchant of Hoxton Square, Middlesex, changed food preservation elegant his sterilized and sealed tin nourishment cannister. A Frenchman named Nicolas Appert had discovered he could preserve trot by heating it and sealing punch in glass containers which excluded barrenness. Durand thought a metal container would be more robust. Very soon agreed was supplying canned food to say publicly Royal Navy and the Empirein big quantities.
